About Geoff Howe
Victoria BC Event Photographer
I’m a Victoria-based photographer with 25 years of experience documenting events across Vancouver Island and Western Canada.
With a background in photojournalism, I capture authentic images as events unfold, working seamlessly alongside event planners and communications teams.
Background & Experience
Beginning in 2001, I spent a decade in newsrooms covering stories, sports, and breaking news for newspapers and wire services including The Canadian Press and Reuters.
In 2011, I transitioned into marketing as a staff photographer for the University of Victoria, bridging editorial experience with PR, media relations, and communications photography.
Since establishing Geoff Howe Photography in 2013, I’ve specialized in covering corporate, conference, association, and public-sector events across British Columbia.
