  • My portable backdrops and lighting can be set up quickly in almost any venue: boardrooms, trade floors, hotel function areas, or conference rooms at the Victoria Conference Centre, while still delivering consistent, professional results.
  • Attendees know what to expect, and it’s easy for anyone to step in for a portrait without disrupting the event schedule. Environmental or venue portraits are also an option, taking advantage of surrounding spaces for a contextual look.
  • I bring a full studio setup with 5×7’ grey, white, or black backdrops, professional strobes and reflectors, along with a wireless, tethered system that sends photos directly to an iPad.
  • Images can be tagged, approved, or star-rated on the spot, eliminating the need for sending galleries back and forth. Participants immediately see their chosen photo and can request touchups or make adjustments as needed.

Case study: ASIC Victoria conference headshots

For the ASIC conference at the Fairmont Empress in Victoria, organizers brought a custom portable green foliage backdrop, a consistent feature at their events across North America that reflects the group’s focus as irrigation consultants.

I handled the lighting and headshot station in the Palm Court room, giving attendees the chance to drop in during cocktail hour for portraits. Some participants even brought family members for group shots, making the experience enjoyable and memorable for everyone.

Captured within the scheduled event coverage time. Includes several poses and one retouched image.

Standalone headshot sessions: Starting at $375 for one person, up to one hour on site.

Planning headshots for your Victoria event

Each session is approximately 3-5 minutes, including poses and instant wireless iPad preview for approval.

Absolutely, bulk sessions make it cost-effective and efficient. I offer discounts on 10+ headshots, or packages rates for large conferences.

Standard grey, white, and black 5×7′ backdrops are included. Custom backdrops may have an extra charge.

Retouching includes blemish removal, skin tone balancing, flyaway hair cleanup, and light clothing adjustments to ensure a polished, professional look that still feels natural.

A separate room out of public areas is ideal, or at least 20’ deep by 10’ wide to provide enough space for lighting setup and comfortable movement.

Yes, headshots can be scheduled for small teams, staff meetings, or membership events, with the same professional results.

Event headshots are $150 per person, with discounts for groups over 10 and bulk rates for large sessions.

I can comfortably photograph 15–20 people per hour while keeping the lighting and quality consistent. For large groups or high-volume sessions, we can move even faster with a streamlined process, ideal for conferences, trade shows, and team updates.

You’ll receive your final, edited headshots within 5–10 business days after the event. If you need them sooner, rush delivery can often be arranged.

Absolutely. As long as time allows, participants are welcome to try a few different expressions or poses. My setup is designed for quick, efficient adjustments so everyone gets a result they’re happy with.

Each participant receives one fully retouched final photo, chosen from their previews. Additional photos can be retouched for a small fee if desired.

Event headshots are all about speed, consistency, and adaptability. I specialize in on-site headshot setups at conferences and corporate events, managing dozens or even hundreds of participants smoothly in unpredictable spaces.

Yes, I can provide multiple crops and formats suited for LinkedIn, websites, press releases, or internal use. Just let me know how the images will be used, and I’ll make sure they’re sized and framed appropriately for each platform.

Yes, you’ll receive all the photos and variations from your session. The selected photo includes full retouching, and additional edits can be requested for a small fee if you’d like more polished versions.
